I picked up this tiny little old lady in a wheelchair. Her bones were so brittle she could barely move and she had a beautiful English Accent.
She told me she was 98 years old and that her husband had died over thirty years ago. It was a holiday and she told me that she still missed him every day of her life.

I say to her..." But aren't you glad he died first?"
She looks a little confused and asks what I mean by that.
I say, "Darlin, You know he never would have survived with out you. Men are so helpless! You've had over thirty years of life, love, and adventure. You've had kids and grand kids and I'll lay odds, hundreds of friends. You know he never would have been happy. You're a lucky woman."
She laughed and said I was right.
I picked up a charming and obviously bright young man. We talked a bit about Love and Life. He said that although love was one of the greatist forces in the world, it was also the most destructive and he would never fall in love again.

So I say...
There is a Haiku poem that says, "How many, many things we see when we look at these cherry blossoms."
For some people with sad hearts, when they see the cherry blossoms, they see the tragedy of death. The blossoms only last a few days and then die. For those with light hearts, they see the eternal life of the yearly rebirth. People will only see the reflection of their own hearts in the cycle of the cherry blossom.
Love is the same way. How you view your life is how you will view love. If you want an extraordinary love, then you must become an extraordinary person.
I pick up a lovely young woman who seems slightly distraught. I ask her what's wrong and she says she doesn't want to shock me. I mean Hey, I'm the Cosmic Cabbie, like, nothing shocks me. So she tells me that she's possessed by demons. She says that a young man put the demons into her root chakra (groin) about six months ago and she's just returned from the east coast where she had an exorcism. She also says her husband has been in jail for 8 months.

So, the Cosmic Cabbie says... Salt is a very purifying substance. You need to swim at least a mile a day in the ocean to drive the evil spirits out. You should also practice Tai Chi every day as this will strengthen the root chakra and give you power over the evil. Calmness of spirit will also help you defeat the demon, so you need to meditate regularly.
I figure that cold bathing, lots of exercise, focus, and distraction will hold her until her husband gets out of jail and can exorcise the demons in person... I mean, how obvious can you get?
